Back! Baltic Amber Pendants with Insect Inclusion Amber is a semiprecious gem that is formed over eons by natural forces out
of the resin of trees. Human fascination with amber dates back to
prehistoric times when it was considered to have magical powers and was used
for adornment and trade. All of the amber in our jewelry is 50 million year
old Baltic amber which occurs naturally in Poland, Russia, Germany,
Lithuania, and surrounding countries. Our amber jewelry is stylishly set in

Rutilated Quartz Pendants
Rutilated Quartz is a variety of quartz in which thin long needle-like
crystals of rutile form together with quartz. The rutile
inclusions give an unusual appearance to the quartz, as if imbedded
with small bars of gold. Rutilated quartz is found in Australia,
Brazil, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Norway, Pakistan and the United
States. Rutilated Quartz has been referred to as Cupid's darts (red
variety) and Venus hair stone (gold variety).
It is sometimes credited to have healing and spiritually elevating
effects on the human psyche. Rutile is said to intensify the
metaphysical properties of its host crystal and to enhance one's
understanding of difficult situations. It is also said to enhance
creativity and to relieve depression and loneliness. Rutilated
quartz is said to slow down the aging process and is said to be a
strong healer.

WIRE WRAPPED FOSSIL SHARK TOOTH NECKLACES |

The Lamna (also known as Otodus) shark was one of the
largest sharks of the Late Cretaceous. It was one of the dominant
predators of its time, and shared the water with a host of terrifying sea
reptiles. The Lamna could get to over 40' long, and its tan-colored teeth
are discovered in the Sahara Desert of Morocco where the Atlantic Ocean
used to overlap.
Millions of years later, new species of sharks would
also swim above Florida during the Miocene epoch. Quite a few of these
sharks are ones that are still living today, such as the Bull shark, Lemon
shark, and Dusky shark, whose black-colored teeth are featured on these
necklaces. Like Morocco during the Cretaceous, Florida was under water
during the Miocene epoch because of what was once a much larger Atlantic
Ocean.
